Driven by the need to digitally transform, companies are adopting agile development methods and cloud-native platforms to deliver applications faster and react quickly to customer’s needs.

While Cloud Foundry is designed to run microservices applications, some workloads have requirements better suited for Kubernetes. To utilize the advantage of both platforms, organizations are combining these two cloud abstraction levels into multi-cloud solutions with applications traversing both platforms. The challenge in such a multi-cloud solution is to keep consistent and unified visibility across the different cloud abstraction levels and to identify the root cause of a problem.

In this demo, we'll cover a monitoring approach for distributed applications running on multi-cloud platforms. Regardless of the cloud stacks used, a monitoring approach must be in place that understands the different cloud abstraction levels, showing an end-to-end transaction view and reporting the health of the entire stack.
